Branch Shuffleboard Chairmen and Players,

HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE.

Since we now have 9 branches participating in our tournaments our limit is 2 teams per branch for a total of up to 16 teams.

Since we have not been getting 16 teams, I know a few branches would like to put in 3 teams, but this will depend on how many teams we get at 2 per branch.

The deadline for letting me know how many teams you are sending is April 11th., and the deadline for sending your Team sheets into me is April 25th.  The sooner everyone gets their information into me the sooner we will know if there is room for more than 2 teams per branch.   If your branch “does” want to send a third team please make a note when sending the team total into me.  We may have to do a draw for extra teams, it all depends on how many branches want to send a third team.

To make things easier you can email me your info at  hmmcdade@yahoo.ca and when it is time for your team sheets you can also email them or fax them to 506-452-9093.  You may bring your Registration Check to the Tournament with you to save trying to mail it.  That way I can send everything to Command at one time.

As previously voted on, if we do not have enough teams for 2 divisions, every team will play 8 rounds instead of a full round robin.  That way the days will not be as long as usual.  This is if we only have up to 13 teams, after 13 we do a Two Division Schedule.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL NEW PLAYERS HAVE THEIR MEMBERSHIP CARD OR RECEIPT SHOWING THEIR 2025 DUES ARE PAID.  I WILL BE ASKING TO SEE THESE ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY HOPEFULLY BEFORE THE CAPTAIN’S MEETING ON SATURDAY MORNING.    IF SOMEONE “DOES NOT” HAVE THEIRS WITH THEM THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY.

**MEMO** 

If there happens to be something special that you like to drink, it is up to you to call the “HOST” branch and see if they stock it or if they would be willing to stock it for the tournament.   It is not the Bartender’s fault if they do not have your brand on hand when you go there.  Most branch’s carry what their members drink because no branch can afford to have a big inventory on hand that does not get sold during the year.   Sunny Brae Br #54 phone no. is 506-856-7837.

REMEMBER IF YOU ASK THEM TO BRING SOMETHING IN PLEASE DO THE COURTESY OF DRINKING IT.  IF IT IS NOT SOMETHING THEY WOULD NORMALLY SELL THEN THEY ARE STUCK WITH A PRODUCT THEY CAN’T GET RID OF.
