He enlisted on June 17, 1940 and was part of the North Shore Regiment. He served in United Kingdom and France. Private Albert was killed in action on June 11, 1944 in Normandy, France. He is buried at the Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery. For his service, Alexis received the 19391945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945 and the CVSM and clasp. ALLABY,Thomas H. WWI/Première Guerremondiale Thomas was born in Norton, NB on March 3, 1891. He enlisted in the Army on January 10, 1916 and served in Canada with the 115th New Brunswick Battalion. He died of typhoid fever at his home in Norton, NB on February 24, 1916. He is buried in the Central Norton Baptist Cemetery. Thomas est né à Norton, au N.-B., le 3 mars 1891. ALLEN, Royden Arthur WWI/Première Guerremondiale Royden was born in 1897 in Fredericton, NB.He served with the Nova Scotia Highlanders Battalion in England and France. Pte Allen was invalided to Canada on September 20, 1918. He died of servicerelated pulmonary tuberculosis at the Fredericton Military Hospital. For his service, he was awarded theVictory Medal and the BritishWar Medal. He is buried in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Royden est né en 1897 à Fredericton, au N.-B.
