He enlisted in the Navy in Saint John, NB in 1941 and served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, HMCS Alberni in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean. Telegraphist Kirkpatrick presumed killed on August 21, 1944 when the ship in which he was serving HMCS Alberni was lost in the English Channel due to enemy action. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, Atlantic Star and clasp and the CVSM and clasp. He is named on the Halifax Memorial. Stanley est né à Saint John, au N.-B., le 3 février 1922. Private Knowlan died in Italy on September 17, 1944. He is buried in the Gradara War Cemetery. For his service, he received the 19391945 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945 and the CVSM and clasp. Kenneth est né à Moncton, au N.-B., le 20 août 1920. He enlisted on August 12, 1943 and served with the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada in the United Kingdom and France. Private Knox died from his wounds on July 30, 1944 in Normandy, France. He is buried in the Beny-sur-Mer CanadianWar Cemetery. For his service, he received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal 1939-1945 and the CVSM and clasp. Robert est né à West Saint John, au N.-B., le 18 janvier 1921.
