He enlisted in the Army and saw action in Canada, England, France and Germany. Clarence was discharged in 1946 after the war ended and married his wife Mina Shaw on July 24, 1946. He passed away in 1993. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland, NB. For his service, Clarence was awarded the CVSM and the France and Germany Star. HOSSACK, Raymond Arthur WWII/Deuxième Guerremondiale Raymond was born Williamsburg, NB on June 30, 1917. He enlisted in the Army in September 1943 and served with the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment. In July 1944, Raymond was wounded by a shell fragment during the Battle for Carpiquet that sent him to England for recovery and treatment. He returned to the Regiment on October 15, 1944 for the Battle of the Scheldt. He was declared missing in action during a raid on the German Village of Wyler. His name is listed on Panel 11 on the Groesbeek Memorial.He is also listed on theWilliamsburg Soldiers Memorial.He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal 1939-1945 and the CVSM and Clasp. HURRIE, Ralph James WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Ralph was born on January 8, 1920 in Moncton, NB. He served in the Army with No. 6 District Depot, Canadian Army General List. Pte Hurrie enlisted on June 20, 1944. He was killed on July 4, 1944 when his truck was struck by a CNR freight train at a crossing at Humphrey’s Station,Westmorland County.He is buried in the Moncton (Elmwood) Cemetery. Il a été tué le 4 juillet 1944 lorsque son camion a été heurté par un train de marchandises du CN à un passage à niveau de la gare Humphrey, dans le comté deWestmorland. Il est enterré au cimetière de Moncton (Elmwood).
